Flooding Investigation

Loma Linda, California

Background: Earth Forensics was hired by counsel on behalf of a self-storage facility. The facility experienced severe flooding during a rain storm on December 2010 in Loma Linda, CA.

The Study: The self-storage facility questioned whether the road improvements upgradient had increased flow onto their property. Earth Forensics scope of work involved analyzing historical aerial photos, watershed diversions, topography, and rain gage/RADAR data.

Results: After the study was completed, the case settled out of court.
